It was a Friday afternoon, i had just finished work, and was on my home.... Walking down my street i noticed something stood on the pavement, as i got closer i realized it was a Beauty Table. It was painted white with silver drawers & handles, and looked very sorry for it's self!!! So i picked it up and carried it home. Now firstly, you don't know how long i have been wanting a Beauty Table for, but have never found the "Perfect one"....So how perfect was it to find the most perfect Beauty Table, on my own street AND for free!! I really did think it was too good to be true.
The next day i went to Homebase and picked up these very pretty rose handles for £3.50 each, a pair in cream & a pair in pink....
Tried them for size...Perfect! The next thing i had to decide was, what colour i would paint it? I went to my local B&Q and had a look at colour charts, there was so much to choose from, i noticed a reduced section, so i had a little root around and found a pot of satin white paint for wood and metal for £10! Bargain!
Two coats of paint later and 48 hours of allowing it to dry, here is my wonderful Beauty Table ready to be used. All i need now is a pretty little stool, i think a kidney shaped one would complete it, so it matches the table. So the grand total of my one off Beauty Table came to £24.
